호텔 건물을 허물어 버렸다

1954년 오픈하여 2000년까지 Showboat 란 이름으로 운영하던 344개 객실의 호텔인데,
2000년 VSS Enterprises 회사에서 인수하여 운영하고 있다.
2004년 1월 운영의 어려움으로 문을 닫았다.
위치는 다운 타운에서 그리 멀지 않은 프리몬 ( Fremont ) 스트리트에 있다.

19층 건물의 호텔 건물에는 447개의 방이 있고,
하루 이용료는 Standard (일반실)이 쌀 때는 $29 까지하고, 보통 $34에서 $59 정도 한다. Suites 룸은 $145 정도 한다. 룸의 종류는 일반실과 Suites 룸 2 종류가 있다.

4개의 레스토랑, 8개의 컨벤션 룸, 수영장과 RV 파킹장이 있다.
그리고 미국에서 가장 큰 볼링 센터( Bowling Center )도 있다

레스토랑은 45종류의 음식이 있는 뷔페식당인 San Brisas Buffet /
스테이크 전문점인 The Prime Cut Steakhouse /
24시간 오픈하는 커피숍인 Pelican Rock Cafe /
Blue Marlin등이 있다.

Castaways Bowling Center (볼링 센터 ) 북미지역에서 가장 큰 볼링 센터로써,
총 106개의 레인과 스낵 바, 프로샵, 라커 등의 부대시설을 이용할 수 있으며,
연중 무휴로 24시간 운영하고 있다.
요금은 1게임당 $2.25 이며 신발 빌리는데는 $1.75 이다.

Castaways 호텔 의 Waolani Showroom 에서는
수/목 요일은 8 pm 그리고 금/토 요일은 8pm & 10pm 에 At Home in the Islands
Contemporary Polynesian Revue (Ongoing Shows) 의 쑈가 공연 된다.
이 쑈는 Hula dancers, pulsating drums and fire dancers,등이 출연하며,

84대를 주차할 수 있는 RV 파킹장이 있는데 하루 주차요금은 $18 이다.
